Product identity

The ABB LL57 conduit outlet body is an iron fitting designed for 1 1/2 inch trade size IMC and RMC conduit runs. It provides a 90 degree threaded connection with a flat back and includes a cover and gasket for a sealed installation.

Thermals noise power

The zinc plated and powder coated iron body dissipates heat from conductors through its 26.4 cubic inch capacity without active cooling. No moving parts mean silent operation and zero power draw in normal use.

Sustained load behaviour

Under continuous conductor load the iron construction maintains structural integrity and the threaded hub keeps connections secure. The included 570F cover and gasket preserve the seal during prolonged thermal cycling.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 1 1/2 in threaded LL conduit body, and what step is often missed?

Thread the body onto 1 1/2 in IMC or RMC conduit, align the 90-degree hub orientation, then attach the included 570F cover with its gasket to maintain the seal.

What maintenance or replacement will this conduit body need over time?

Inspect the zinc-plated powder-coated finish and the cover gasket periodically; replace the 570F cover or gasket if corrosion or cracking appears.

What limit appears first during sustained use of this 26.4 cu in LL body?

The 26.4 cubic-inch fill capacity is the limiting factor; exceeding NEC conductor-fill rules for the 1 1/2 in trade size will require a larger body.
