Each unit uses a remote probe and a three-button interface to set a target temperature. The relay switches 120 VAC loads up to 8.3 A or 1000 W. Buyers who need heating control or a combined heat-and-cool function cannot use this product.

40–108 °F control range with motor derating

The thermostat operates between 40 °F and 108 °F and is rated for 1000 W resistive loads at 120 VAC 60 Hz. For appliances with motors or rectifiers the safe limit drops to 400 W. The probe must not be immersed in water. Installations that require a wider temperature span or outdoor-rated enclosures fall outside this controller's design.
