Versatile Drum Pump for Multiple Sizes

The Boardwalk BWK00423 is a plastic siphon drum pump designed to fit 15, 30 and 55 gallon drums. It delivers a flow rate of 5 gpm using a displacement operating principle. Fingertip control and a flip-top vent allow precise regulation of siphon flow. The unit is sold as a single each.

Chemical Compatibility and Usage Limits

The pump handles most cleaning solutions and corrosive chemicals when they are thin and easily flowing. It must not be used with solvents, which limits its suitability for certain industrial or automotive fluids. The 46 inch length reaches deep containers while the push-pump style keeps operation straightforward. Buyers needing solvent transfer should select a different pump.

Upgrade from Manual Pouring or Basic Siphons

This pump replaces gravity pouring, hand siphons or makeshift dip tubes for high-volume containers. The jump is worth it when daily transfer volumes make manual methods slow, messy or unsafe. It does not replace powered transfer systems for continuous-duty or high-viscosity applications.

Questions about this item

Which drum sizes does the BWK00423 pump fit?

What does the 5 gpm rating mean when I am actually pumping?

It delivers up to five gallons per minute with thin, easily flowing liquids; thicker fluids will reduce the flow.

What interface does the pump use and what does it limit?
