3-in-1 Therapy for Wrist and Joint Relief

The Bob and Brad HXR-A090 combines three heat levels, three vibration modes and dual-wavelength red and near-infrared light in a cordless wrap. It is designed for people managing arthritis, carpal tunnel or tendonitis who want therapist-endorsed treatment at home or on the go.

Heat Range, Battery Life and Quiet Operation

Three settings span 104°F to 122°F and the wrap warms in 30 seconds. The 1900mAh battery runs up to 3 hours on low or 60 minutes on high and recharges via USB-C in 1.5 hours. An NTC sensor regulates temperature and a 15-minute auto-shutoff adds safety during rest.

Upgrading from Basic Braces or Single-Mode Pads

This wrap replaces simple compression sleeves or heating pads that lack vibration or light therapy. The jump is worth it when you need 660nm and 850nm wavelengths reaching 30-40mm deep, adjustable straps for elbow or knee use, and a washable core for daily hygiene.

Questions about this item

How do I put the wrap on and which step do people skip?

Slide your hand through the thumbhole-free opening, position the 20-bead light matrix over the wrist joint, then fasten the adjustable straps snugly; the step most users skip is letting the device warm for the full 30 seconds before selecting one of the three heat levels (104°F–122°F).

What part will need replacement first and when?

The embedded 1900 mAh battery is not user-replaceable; after several hundred charge cycles its runtime falls below the rated 60 minutes on high or 3 hours on low, at which point the entire unit must be replaced.

What limit appears first during a long session?

The 15-minute auto-shutoff stops heating and vibration; on the highest setting the 18 W draw depletes the 3.7 V pack in about 60 minutes, so battery endurance is the practical ceiling for continuous use.
