What it is

The BolaButty C27C is a 20W 2.1CH portable speaker finished in black. It uses Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless streaming up to 100 feet and offers up to 24 hours of playtime at 50% volume with the lights off. An IPX5 rating protects against water splashes, making it suitable for outdoor use.

What the extras do

TWS pairing lets you link two units for a wider stereo image. The multicolour LED breathing light can be switched off to extend battery life. Touch controls handle playback and calls without reaching for the source device. A passive radiator works alongside the 8-inch driver to reinforce low frequencies down to 27Hz.

Who should buy and who should not

Buyers wanting a single rugged speaker for poolside, camping or party use with long battery life will find it fits. Those who need a wired auxiliary input, a built-in voice assistant, or a more compact form factor for backpacking should look at something else.
