Precision pocket scale for small items

The BOMATA BS2000-001B is a compact digital scale built for 1000g capacity with 0.01g resolution. It targets home bakers, jewellery makers and hobbyists who need repeatable gram-level readings on a kitchen counter or workbench. Nine selectable units cover grams, ounces, pennyweight, carats and millilitres for liquid volume.

Capacity and headroom

Weighing range starts at 0.05g and tops out at 1kg, giving comfortable headroom for spices, coffee doses, beads or coins. The counting function speeds up inventory of uniform pieces. Auto-off defaults to 180 seconds and can be set to 60 or 120 seconds, or disabled entirely for long sessions.

Thermals noise and power draw

No moving parts mean silent operation and negligible heat. A built-in lithium cell charges via USB, while two AAA cells provide backup power when a port is not handy. The stainless-steel platform resists spills, and the supplied waterproof sticker adds extra protection for damp ingredients.

Questions about this item

Will the 0.01 g resolution and 1 kg capacity cover the same small components I currently weigh on an older scale?

The scale measures from 0.05 g up to 1 kg with 0.01 g resolution, so it handles light parts and heavier items alike.

How can I verify the scale is reading correctly after I unpack and power it?

Use the built-in calibration function with a known test weight; the display will show the calibrated value and the HOLD function can lock the reading for confirmation.

What accessories are included and what must I buy separately to start weighing?

The box contains the scale, two transparent trays, a USB cable, two AAA batteries and a waterproof sticker; no extra items are required for operation.
