Compatible 13 inch MacBook Air models

This hard case fits the 13 inch MacBook Air with Retina Display and Touch ID released in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. It matches model numbers A2337, A1932 and A2179. Buyers should verify the model number on the bottom of their laptop before ordering. The case is not suitable for other MacBook sizes or models without Touch ID.

Vented design and heat management

The shell is fully vented to allow safe heat disbursement during normal use. You can keep the case on while charging or connecting cables and headsets because all ports remain accessible. The hard plastic bumper wraps around the edges to absorb shocks from drops and falls. A clear silicone keyboard cover is included to protect against dust and liquid spills.

Foldable stand and logo visibility

A built‑in foldable stand provides an ergonomic typing angle and helps relieve neck strain during long sessions. The no‑cut‑out design lets the Apple logo shine through the Khaki shell. The case adds protection without blocking any port or feature. Users who prefer a completely flat bottom surface or who need a case for a non‑Retina MacBook Air should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the hard shell and the silicone keyboard cover onto my MacBook Air 13 A2337?

Snap the two-piece hard shell onto the top and bottom of the MacBook Air 13 A2337, then lay the clear silicone keyboard cover flat over the keys; the case has no Apple logo cut-out so the logo shines through.

Will the silicone keyboard cover need replacing, and how often?

The included clear silicone keyboard cover protects against dust, liquid spills and key wear; replace it if it tears, stretches or no longer sits flush on the MacBook Air 13 keyboard.

At what point does the case limit heat dissipation during sustained loads?

The case is fully vented for safe heat disbursement, so the MacBook Air 13 manages its own thermal limits; the case itself adds no extra restriction.
