14-Inch Hard-Shell Fit

The BONAEVER 14 inch Hard Case Black is a rigid protective shell cut for 14-inch ultraportables from Lenovo, Dell, HP and ASUS. It snaps onto compatible Yoga, ThinkPad X1 Carbon, Inspiron, Latitude, EliteBook and Vivobook models without adding bulk. Buyers whose laptop is not on the listed model lines cannot use this case.

Snap-On Shell and Pencil Holder

The two-piece hard cover wraps the top and bottom of the chassis, leaving ports, vents and hinge movement clear. A built-in pencil holder secures a stylus against the lid so it travels with the device. The microfiber lining cushions the finish while the textured PU leather exterior resists slips and surface scratches.

Model-Specific Coverage Limits

The case fits the exact 14-inch SKUs named in the compatibility lists, including ThinkPad X1 Carbon 4th through 8th generation and X1 Yoga 4th and 5th generation. It does not fit ThinkPad X1 Carbon 9th or 10th generation, X1 Yoga 6th generation, or any other 14-inch laptop outside the supplied model numbers.

Questions about this item

Will the hard-shell design trap heat against my laptop during long sessions?

The case is a passive cover with no vents or fans, so it does not actively change the laptop’s temperature. It adds a thin PU-leather and microfiber layer that insulates slightly, but the device’s own cooling system still handles sustained loads.

Does the case block any ports, vents or the 360-degree hinge on convertible models?

Cut-outs are moulded for each listed model, so USB, HDMI, audio, charging and intake or exhaust vents stay open. On 360-degree convertibles such as the Yoga 7 or Pavilion x360 14-dy000 the hinge area is clear, allowing full flip to tablet mode.

My laptop is a ThinkPad X1 Carbon 9th generation — will this case fit it?

No. The compatibility list explicitly excludes ThinkPad X1 Carbon 9th and 10th generations, as well as ThinkPad X1 Yoga 6th generation. Only the 4th through 8th generation X1 Carbon and 4th to 5th generation X1 Yoga are supported.
