Hard shell for Surface Laptop 13.5 inch

This hard-shell case fits Microsoft Surface Laptop 5, 4 and 3 models 1868 and 1951 with a metal palm rest. It snaps on in two pieces and includes a transparent silicone keyboard skin. The matte khaki finish lets the Microsoft logo show through. All ports remain accessible without removing the case.

Buyers needing model-specific fit

The case is built only for the listed 13.5 inch Surface Laptop models with metal palm rest. It will not fit other Surface Laptop sizes, the Surface Book line or any non-Surface notebook. Shoppers with a different model number should look for a case matched to that device.

Model numbers 1868 and 1951

Compatibility is decided by the model number printed on the bottom of the laptop. Only devices showing 1868 or 1951 are supported. Verify that number before ordering to ensure the case aligns with ports, vents and the foldable stand.

Questions about this item

What model numbers does the 13.5 inch case fit?

It fits Microsoft Surface Laptop 5, 4 and 3 with metal palm rest, model numbers 1868 and 1951 only. Check the label on the bottom of your device before ordering.

Does the hard shell add much bulk or block the vents?

The armor shell wraps the edges with shock-absorbent bumper material and is fully vented for heat disbursement, so ports stay accessible and airflow is not restricted.

How do I attach the case without scratching the laptop?

Snap the two halves on carefully; the kit includes an anti-scratch protector that sits between the shell and the chassis for 360 protection.
