BONAEVER 2.5 Inch SATA Enclosure

This tool-free enclosure turns a 2.5 inch SATA HDD or SSD into a portable USB 3.0 drive. It accepts both 7mm and 9.5mm drive heights and draws power directly from the host port. The ABS shell protects the drive while an LED shows power and activity status.

Upgrade From USB 2.0 Enclosures

The USB 3.0 interface delivers up to 5 Gbps transfer rates with UASP support for lower latency. This jump is worth it when moving large media libraries or system images between devices. Older USB 2.0 or 1.1 enclosures cannot sustain these speeds for HD video transfers.

Check Drive Height And Host Port

Verify your 2.5 inch drive measures either 7mm or 9.5mm thick before ordering. Ensure the host device offers a USB 3.0, 2.0 or 1.1 Type-A port for the fixed cable. The enclosure supports Windows, Linux and Mac OS without extra drivers.
