Tool-free 2.5-inch SATA enclosure

This USB 3.0 enclosure accepts 2.5-inch SATA hard drives and SSDs between 7 mm and 9.5 mm thick, up to 6 TB capacity. It is built for users who want to turn a spare internal drive into portable storage without tools or an external power supply.

Upgrade from USB 2.0 enclosures

The enclosure supports SATA I, II and III drives and adds UASP support for faster transfers on compatible hosts. The jump is worthwhile when moving large media libraries or system images where the 70 % speed gain over standard USB 3.0 bulk endpoints reduces wait time.

Sustained USB-powered operation

The ABS shell is rated fireproof and impact-resistant while drawing all power from the host USB port. Over-current, over-voltage, overheating and short-circuit protection circuits keep the drive stable during long copy sessions without thermal throttling or unexpected disconnects.
