4 Pack Hall-Effect Joysticks

This set contains four Hall-effect analog joystick modules built as direct replacements for the Sony DualSense PS5 controller. They use contactless magnetic sensors instead of traditional potentiometers to eliminate the physical wear that causes stick drift. The black thumb sticks are sold as a repair kit for owners who want to restore precise control without buying a new gamepad.

Repairers fixing drift or dead zones

The modules suit anyone comfortable opening a DualSense controller and soldering or press-fitting new sticks to the mainboard. They will not fit PS4, Xbox One or Xbox Series controllers, so owners of those pads must look elsewhere. Buyers who prefer a pre-assembled thumb-stick cap or who lack soldering equipment should consider a different solution.

Hall-effect magnetic sensing

Contactless 3D Hall-effect sensors replace the original carbon-track potentiometers, removing the friction source that creates drift, stuttering, dead zones and off-center creep. This single technology change is the deciding factor for whether the repair lasts longer than the stock sticks.

Questions about this item

Will these Hall-Effect joysticks fit the DualSense controller I already own?

Yes, they are designed specifically for the PS5 DualSense controller and do not fit PS4 or Xbox controllers.

How can I confirm the replacement joysticks have fixed the stick drift on my controller?

After installation, test the analog sticks in the PS5 settings calibration menu; the crosshair should stay perfectly centred with no unwanted movement.

Does the pack of four include any tools or extra parts for the repair?

The package contains only the four Hall-Effect joystick modules; screwdrivers, prying tools, and soldering equipment must be sourced separately.
