Designed for GoPro Hero 8 Black

This waterproof housing is built specifically for the GoPro Hero 8 Black action camera. It provides a sealed enclosure that lets the camera operate at depth while keeping controls accessible via external buttons. The case targets divers, surfers and other extreme-sport users who need reliable protection beyond the camera’s own rating.

Integrated latch and quick-release mount

An integrated buckle-and-seal design allows the housing to be opened and closed without tools, speeding up setup on a boat or at the shoreline. A quick-release mount and thumbscrew are included so the unit attaches directly to standard GoPro mounts, leaving the camera’s own mounting fingers free for other accessories.

Rated to 60 metres and 196 feet

The housing is pressure-tested to 60 metres, making it suitable for recreational scuba depths as well as surface sports. A flat tempered-glass lens and a transparent rear cover maintain optical clarity for photos and video, while the thick shell absorbs impacts from rocks or board strikes.

Questions about this item

How deep can I take the BONAEVER case with my GoPro Hero 8 Black before water pressure becomes a problem?

The housing is rated for 60 metres or 196 feet, so it handles recreational and technical dives within that limit.

Will the case fog up or overheat the camera during a full day of diving?

The tempered glass lens and transparent rear cover are designed to stay clear, and the polycarbonate shell dissipates heat passively during extended underwater use.

Does the package include the mounting hardware I need to attach the camera to a tray or pole?

Yes, a quick-release mount and thumbscrew are supplied so you can secure the Hero 8 Black to standard GoPro mounts straight away.
