Dust-Filtering Grills for 80 mm Fans

Four aluminium-frame grills with ultra-fine stainless-steel mesh fit standard 80 mm fan mounts. The 71.5 x 71.5 mm hole spacing matches common chassis vents. Each grill is 3.3 inches square and .14 inches thick, adding minimal depth inside the case.

Mesh Density That Blocks Fine Dust

The 24-mesh stainless-steel screen stops particles down to 25.4 microns while still letting air pass. Aluminium frames resist corrosion and hold their shape during cleaning. Sixteen M5×8 screws are included so every grill can be secured without hunting for hardware.

Steady Airflow Under Continuous Load

Open-area mesh maintains consistent flow during long gaming or rendering sessions. The rigid .6 mm aluminium frame prevents vibration or warping when fans spin at full speed for hours. No foam or fabric layers clog over time, so static pressure stays predictable.

Questions about this item

How much dust does the 24# stainless-steel mesh actually stop once it is mounted on an 80 mm fan?

The ultra-fine 24# stainless-steel mesh blocks the majority of airborne dust while still allowing air to pass through the 80 mm fan opening.

What does the 71.5 mm mount-hole spacing mean for compatibility with my case?

The 71.5 mm square hole pattern matches the standard 80 mm fan mounting grid, so the grills bolt directly to most cases and fan frames.

Will the 3.5 mm thick aluminium frame and included M5×8 screws clear my side-panel glass?

Each grill is only 3.5 mm thick and the supplied M5×8 screws sit flush, leaving ample clearance for tempered-glass side panels.
