Compatible MacBook Pro Models

This hard shell case fits the MacBook Pro 15 inch with Retina Display model A1398 released between 2012 and 2015. Buyers must verify the model number printed on the bottom of the laptop before ordering. It will not fit other 15 inch MacBook generations or non-Retina models.

Installation and Common Issues

The case snaps onto the top and bottom halves of the laptop without tools or adhesive. A frequent mistake is purchasing without confirming the exact A1398 identifier, which leads to misaligned port cutouts and an insecure fit. The included silicone keyboard cover lays directly over the keys for spill protection.

Protection and Stand Features

The wraparound bumper absorbs impact from drops and scuffs while the fully vented design allows heat to escape. A built-in foldable kickstand raises the rear for a more comfortable typing angle. The Apple logo remains visible through the solid red shell with no cutout.
