Compatible MacBook Pro Models

This hard-shell case fits the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display carrying model number A1398 released between 2012 and 2015. Buyers must verify the "Axxxx" code on the bottom of their device before purchase. It is not suitable for other MacBook sizes, newer 15-inch models, or any non-Apple laptops.

Protection and Ergonomics

A shock-absorbent wraparound bumper and 360-degree armor shell guard against drops, scuffs and scratches while keeping every port accessible. The built-in foldable kickstand raises the rear for a more comfortable typing angle and improved screen visibility. A clear silicone keyboard cover adds a barrier against dust and liquid spills without removing the case.

Thermal Behaviour Under Load

Fully vented construction allows hot air to escape during extended workloads so the chassis stays within safe operating temperatures. The hard plastic shell does not trap heat against the aluminium body during long rendering or compile sessions. Users who need active cooling or liquid-spill proofing beyond the keyboard cover should look elsewhere.
