Compatible iPad models

This case fits the iPad Air 3rd generation 10.5 inch 2019 models A2123, A2152, A2153 and A2154. It also fits the iPad Pro 10.5 inch 2017 models A1701, A1709 and A1852. It is designed for owners of those specific tablets who want a protective cover with a built-in stand. Buyers with any other iPad model cannot use this case.

Protection and kickstand

The case uses a hard plastic frame, a PC inner shell and a soft silicone outer layer in a three-layer structure. It guards against drops, scratches, shock and dust without a screen protector. A built-in kickstand provides two viewing angles for typing or watching video. Precise cutouts keep Touch ID, cameras, speakers and the charging port accessible.

Upgrade from basic sleeves

This case replaces a simple sleeve or folio that offers no stand and limited drop protection. The jump is worth it when you need hands-free viewing angles and rugged three-layer defence for daily transport. It is not for users who want a screen protector included or a keyboard attachment.

Questions about this item

How do I install the case and which step do people often get wrong?

Snap the iPad into the PC inner shell first, then wrap the silicone layer around it; the common mistake is fitting the silicone before the inner shell, which leaves gaps at the corners.

What part will need replacement first with daily use?

The included stylus pen tip wears down before the case materials; twist the barrel to extend the spare tip when the original feels less responsive.

What limits the kickstand during long viewing sessions?

The kickstand locks at two fixed angles only; if you need a steeper or shallower position the hinge cannot adjust further.
