Active Pencil for iPad 2018-2023

This active stylus works with iPad models released between 2018 and 2023, including the 9.7 and 10.2 inch base models, Air, Mini and Pro variants. It is designed for note-taking, sketching and document markup without needing a Bluetooth connection. The pen is not compatible with iPhone, Android or Microsoft devices.

Quick Charge and Magnetic Attachment

A USB-C port fills the 130mah battery in 30 minutes for up to 10 hours of continuous use. Three LED indicators show remaining power and the pen shuts off automatically after 10 idle minutes. A magnetic side allows the pencil to cling to compatible iPad edges for storage. The 1.5 mm POM tip ships with three spare nibs.

Limits of the Stylus Standard

The pencil offers palm rejection and tilt sensing but provides no pressure sensitivity, so line weight cannot vary with force. It functions only with the iPad models listed in the 2018 to 2023 range and cannot pair with other tablets or smartphones. Buyers needing pressure-sensitive input should look elsewhere.
