Aluminium Battery Door for GoPro 10 and 11

This CNC-machined aluminium alloy door replaces the standard plastic side cover on GoPro Hero 11 Black, Hero 10 Black and Hero 9 Black cameras. It is built for owners who want a tougher latch area that resists cracking from sharp impacts or repeated battery swaps. The metal construction adds rigidity without the brittleness of the original part.

Capacity and Headroom

The door protects the battery compartment and the adjacent USB-C port on all three supported models. It handles daily removal and reinstallation through a one-press latch and a single release button. It does not add waterproofing beyond the camera’s own seals, so deep immersion still requires the official housing.

Build and Daily Use

A layer of EVA foam lines the interior to cushion the battery and improve the seal against vibration. The press-fit design means no tools are needed for field changes, and the aluminium shell shrugs off scratches that would gouge plastic. Users who prefer the stock plastic door for its lighter weight or flexibility may find this upgrade unnecessary.
