BONAEVER Faceplate for PS5 Pro Digital Edition

This replacement faceplate is designed specifically for the 2024 PS5 Pro Digital Edition console. It replaces the original cover directly and includes an integrated RGB LED light ring that attaches to the cooling fan frame. The kit adds 400+ lighting effects and a dust-filtered vent system for users wanting to customise their console's appearance and airflow.

Check compatibility before ordering

Verify that you own the PS5 Pro Digital Edition model released in 2024, as this faceplate is tailored exclusively for that version. The installation replaces the factory side panels and requires attaching the LED light strip to the internal fan frame. Ensure you are comfortable removing the original covers and routing the light strip's power connection inside the console chassis.

Thermals, noise and power

The added cooling vents are designed to promote faster air circulation around the console during operation, helping to reduce overheating. An integrated dust filter covers the vents to limit dust intake on the internal fan, which can contribute to quieter long-term running. The RGB LED strip draws power from the console itself, adding negligible load to the system's overall power draw.

Questions about this item

Does the kit include both side plates and the LED light strip, or do I need to buy the light separately?

The kit supplies the replacement faceplates and the RGB LED light ring; everything needed to swap the original covers and add lighting is in the box.

The listing mentions 400+ LED lighting effects — what does that number actually cover?

It refers to the variety of colour and pattern modes the built-in light ring can display, selectable via the controller.

Will the cooling vents and dust filter change how loud or hot the console runs in daily use?

The vents increase airflow around the fan while the filter traps dust, helping keep temperatures lower and the fan cleaner over time.
