Compatible MacBook Air 13.6 inch A2681 M2 2022

This hard-shell case is designed exclusively for the MacBook Air 13.6 inch with M2 chip, Liquid Retina display and Touch ID released in 2022 (model A2681). It fits the exact dimensions of 11.97 x 8.46 x 0.44 inch and will not fit any other laptop model. A transparent keyboard cover is included to guard against spills.

Replaces basic sleeves and ill-fitting shells

Unlike generic sleeves that shift during transport, this case clips directly onto the chassis and stays aligned with every port and vent. The upgrade is worth it when you want permanent scratch protection without adding bulk or blocking the fully vented heat-disbursement design. Buyers who need a case for a different MacBook Air size or an older model cannot use this product.

Tool-free snap-on installation

The two-piece plastic shell snaps on and off in seconds; no screws or adhesives are required. All buttons, ports and features remain fully accessible once the case is seated. The most common issue is ordering the wrong model number, so verify the A2681 marking on the bottom of the laptop before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the 12 x 8.5 x 0.46 inch case fit my MacBook Air 13.6 inch A2681?

Yes, the case dimensions match the 11.97 x 8.46 x 0.44 inch laptop exactly for the 2022 M2 model A2681.

How do I install the hard shell and keyboard cover correctly?

Snap the top and bottom shells onto the laptop, then lay the transparent keyboard cover flat over the keys; the mistake is placing the cover before the shell is fully seated.

When should I replace the transparent keyboard cover?

Replace the cover if it develops tears, permanent creases or no longer lies flat, as that reduces spill protection for the keyboard.
