Vented Shell Aids Heat Dissipation

The polycarbonate shell is fully vented to allow heat to escape during normal use. A transparent silicone keyboard cover is included to protect against spills and debris without blocking airflow. The case adds minimal bulk while keeping all buttons and ports accessible.

Silicone Cover and Simple Installation

The bundle includes the rubberised hard shell and a transparent silicone keyboard skin. Both pieces are totally removable and easy to put on or take off. This combination shields the laptop from scrapes and scratches while maintaining full feature access.

Questions about this item

How do I install the hard shell case on my MacBook Pro 16 A2485 without blocking the vents?

Snap the top and bottom polycarbonate pieces onto the 14.01 x 9.77 x 0.66 inch chassis, then press firmly around every edge so the fully vented cut-outs stay aligned with the internal fans.

When should I replace the transparent silicone keyboard cover that comes in the box?

Swap it once the surface feels tacky, shows permanent key impressions or no longer lays flat, typically after several months of daily typing.

What is the first fit issue that appears if I use this case on a slightly different 16-inch model?

The 14.05 x 9.8 x 0.67 inch shell will not sit flush because the A2485 body is 14.01 x 9.77 x 0.66 inch, leaving gaps that trap heat and stress the hinge.
