Steam Deck protection case

The BONAEVER hard case is built for Steam Deck owners who want a single waterproof shell for the console, controllers and a foldable keyboard. IP67 rating means the case can survive immersion at one metre for 30 minutes. High-density sponge cut-outs hold each item firmly in place.

Thermals noise and power

The sealed ABS shell adds no active cooling, so the Steam Deck runs at its normal temperatures and fan noise while stored. No batteries or electronics are inside the case, therefore it draws zero power and adds no audible sound during transport or storage.

Build quality and daily use

Moulded ABS construction resists impacts and drops while the precision-cut foam prevents scratches on every slot. A rigid carry handle allows one-handed transport, and the latched lid keeps dust and water out when the case sits on a shelf or in a vehicle.

Questions about this item

How do I place the Steam Deck and accessories into the case correctly?

Each slot is precisely cut for the console, controllers and foldable keyboard. Lay the device flat in its shaped cavity so the high-density sponge surrounds every edge before closing the lid.

What upkeep does the IP67 seal require over time?

Rinse the gasket with fresh water after salt or mud exposure, dry it fully, and inspect for cracks before each trip to maintain the 30-minute submersion rating.

At what depth or duration does the waterproof protection stop being effective?

The IP67 rating guarantees protection for 30 minutes at one metre; deeper or longer immersion exceeds the certified limit.
