IP68 waterproof case for Galaxy A16

The BONAEVER case fits the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G and A16 4G with a 6.7 inch display. It provides a fully sealed enclosure rated IP68 for submersion to 6.6 ft for one hour. The design targets users who need reliable protection during swimming, snorkelling, skiing or dusty outdoor work. A built-in screen protector and lens cover maintain touch response and optical clarity.

Sustained immersion and impact resistance

Under continuous load the sealed shell keeps water, dust, sand and sunscreen from reaching the device for the full rated period. The rugged frame absorbs repeated shocks from drops during hiking, cycling or climbing without compromising the seal. Anti-slip textures and the included lanyard reduce handling fatigue and accidental releases during extended activity.

Limits of the IP68 rating

The IP68 certification covers fresh water at 6.6 ft depth for one hour; it does not guarantee protection beyond that depth or duration. High-pressure jets, salt water, chlorinated pools and hot steam may exceed the tested conditions. The case adds bulk and cannot support wireless charging or accessories that require direct port access.

Questions about this item

Does the IP68 case trap heat or make the Galaxy A16 run hotter during all-day use?

The sealed IP68 design adds an insulating layer around the phone; prolonged heavy workloads may cause slightly higher surface temperatures than a bare device.

What must I already own for this waterproof case to fit and function?

You need a Samsung Galaxy A16 5G or A16 4G with the 6.7 inch display; the case is moulded specifically for that model.

Will the built-in screen protector interfere with an older tempered-glass protector I already have on the A16?

The case includes its own HD PET screen film and lens protector; any existing glass must be removed first or the case will not seat correctly.
