Questions about this item

How long will the IP68 waterproof seal last before it needs replacing?

The case is rated IP68 for submersion up to 6.6 feet (2 meters) for 1 hour; the seal is integral to the two-piece design and is not user-replaceable.

What is the first limit you hit when using the case continuously underwater?

The IP68 rating allows a maximum of 1 hour at 2 meters depth; exceeding that time or depth compromises the waterproof protection.

Does the case trap heat or make the iPad run hotter during all-day use?

The fully sealed, ultra-thin cover wraps both sides of the iPad 9.7 inch 2017/2018, which can reduce passive heat dissipation compared to an open case.
