BONAEVER Pixel 8 IP68 Waterproof Phone Case Black

Pixel 8 Exclusive Fit

This case is manufactured solely for the Google Pixel 8 and will not fit the Pixel 7 or Pixel 8 Pro. The design wraps the handset in a sealed double-layer shell that integrates a built-in screen protector with a transparent back cover. All ports are covered by plugs that must be closed before exposure to water. Users should verify their exact phone model before purchase.

IP68 Submersion Behaviour

The IP68 rating certifies protection at 6.6 ft for up to an hour, making the case suitable for swimming, snorkelling or heavy rain. Under sustained immersion the sealed plugs keep the internals dry while the double-layer structure maintains its shock-absorption properties. Continuous pressure at depth does not degrade the waterproof seal provided the plugs remain fastened. Regular inspection of the plug seals is advised for frequent underwater use.

Wireless Charging & Fingerprint Limits

Wireless charging functions through the case without removal, though the added thickness may reduce coupling efficiency on some chargers. Fingerprint unlock is supported but requires re-enrolment of prints after the case is installed. The built-in screen protector can affect touch sensitivity, so users should test recognition accuracy after fitting. Metallic objects or credit cards placed between the phone and charger will block power transfer.
