WiFi Repeater for Home Networks

This compact WiFi repeater extends wireless coverage up to 9956 sq.ft using IEEE802.11 b/g/n protocol on the 2.4GHz~2.4835GHz band. It delivers a 300Mbps transmission rate and includes one Ethernet port for wired connections. Setup is handled through a wizard interface on a phone, tablet or computer.

300Mbps Transmission Rate

The single figure that decides suitability is the 300Mbps transmission rate on the 2.4GHz band under IEEE802.11 b/g/n. Buyers whose internet plan or local traffic exceeds this throughput will not see the full speed of their connection through the repeater.

Plug-In Setup with Two Modes

The unit plugs directly into an EU or US socket and offers relay and AP modes configured once via the wizard software. One-key encryption supports WPA2, WPA and WEP 64/128 security. The ABS housing measures 16.5 x 7.5 x 5 centimetres. No driver installation is required for wireless devices.

Questions about this item

How far will the 9956 sq.ft coverage reach inside my house?

The 9956 sq.ft figure is a maximum in open space; walls and floors will reduce the actual range you see in each room.

What does the 300Mbps transmission rate mean for my internet speed?

300Mbps is the wireless link ceiling on the 2.4GHz band; your real throughput will be lower and limited by your broadband plan.

Will the 16.5 x 7.5 x 5 cm case fit on my power strip?

The unit measures 16.5 cm long, 7.5 cm wide and 5 cm high, so check the spacing between your strip's sockets before plugging it in.
