12.3-Inch Surface Pro Rugged Case

This rugged case fits Microsoft Surface Pro models from the 2015 release through the 2021 release, covering the 12.3-inch Pro 4, Pro 5, Pro 6, Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus. It is built for field workers, students and mobile professionals who need drop protection without removing the official Type Cover keyboard. The integrated pen holder keeps the stylus secure while the adjustable kickstand remains fully accessible for multiple viewing angles.

Sustained Daily Protection

The four corners use airbag cushions and thickened TPU to absorb repeated impacts from drops onto hard surfaces during daily transport. A secure hand strap prevents accidental slips while standing or walking between meetings, and the detachable shoulder strap distributes weight for longer carries. Fixed buckles lock the keyboard cover closed, shielding the screen from pressure and debris inside a bag without adding bulk that interferes with docking.

Thermals Noise and Power

The open design leaves all tablet vents and ports completely exposed, so the device's own cooling system operates without restriction or added heat buildup. The case adds no active components, draws no power and produces no noise of its own. Materials stay flexible in typical indoor and outdoor temperatures, keeping straps and corner cushions effective without becoming brittle or sticky during extended use.

Questions about this item

Does the blue case add noticeable heat or fan noise during all-day use?

The case has no fans or electronics, so it produces no noise and does not affect the tablet's own thermal performance.

What must I already own for the shoulder strap and pen holder to be useful?

You need a compatible 12.3-inch Surface Pro model — 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 or 2021 release — and your own Surface Pen.

Will the rugged cover still let me use the original Type Cover keyboard on my 2018 Surface Pro 6?

Yes, the keyboard opening and fixed buckles are designed to work with the official Type Cover on every listed model.
