Protective Case for Nintendo Switch 2017

The BONAEVER cover fits the original 2017 Nintendo Switch model. A hybrid TPU construction adds grip and shock absorption for handheld play. Eight thumb-grip caps are included to customise stick feel. The one-piece design must be removed before docking the console.

Behaviour during extended handheld sessions

Soft TPU material cushions the console against repeated impacts and daily vibration. The bezel around the edge raises the screen and controls off flat surfaces when set down. Flexible yet rigid enough to hold its shape, the cover resists permanent deformation after long use. Certificates confirm compliance with CE, FCC and ROHS standards.

Upgrade from bare console or thin shells

Replaces an unprotected Switch or a minimal skin that lacks grip and drop protection. The integrated grips and thumb caps improve comfort for players who find the stock console slippery during marathon sessions. Not suited for users who keep the console permanently docked or who prefer a folio-style case with screen cover.

Questions about this item

Does the TPU grip case add noticeable bulk or heat during long handheld sessions?

The hybrid TPU shell is thin and shock-absorbent, so it stays comfortable in hand without trapping heat during extended play.

What must I already own for this cover to fit and work?

You need a Nintendo Switch 2017 console; the case snaps onto that model and includes eight thumb-grip caps for the Joy-Con sticks.

Will I have to remove the case every time I dock the Switch 2017?

Yes, the one-piece design covers the dock connector, so you slide it off before docking and snap it back on for handheld mode.
