Dedicated fit for Kobo Sage 2021

This slim case is built only for the 8.0 inch Kobo Sage released in 2021. It wraps the eReader in soft TPU and adds a magnetic front cover that triggers auto wake and sleep when opened or closed. The precise cutouts keep every button and port accessible while the frosted back resists fingerprints and adds grip.

360 degree protection with minimal bulk

The shell covers back, edges and corners to guard against scratches, shocks, dust and drops. A foldable front panel uses integrated magnets to create multiple stand angles for hands-free reading. Two stylus pens are included in the package, storing neatly within the cover.

Limits of the magnetic closure system

The auto wake and sleep function relies entirely on the cover’s built-in magnets aligning with the Sage’s sensors; misalignment will prevent the feature from working. The case fits no other Kobo model, so owners of different eReaders cannot use it. The stand angles are fixed by the cover’s fold lines and cannot be adjusted beyond the positions the magnets allow.

Questions about this item

Will the auto wake/sleep function still work if I keep my existing screen protector on the 8.0 inch Kobo Sage?

Yes, the magnetic cover triggers the sensor through the case itself, so a thin screen protector underneath will not stop the auto wake/sleep feature from working.

How can I check that the magnetic closure is aligned correctly after putting the case on?

Close the cover and the tablet should go to sleep immediately; open it and the screen should wake. If both happen, the magnets are seated properly.

Does the package include a stylus for the Kobo Sage or do I need to buy one separately?

A 2-in-1 stylus pen is included in the box, so no separate purchase is needed for basic note-taking or navigation.
