Designed for Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2016 with S Pen

This protective case fits the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 models SM-P580 and SM-P585 that include the S Pen. It is not compatible with the non-S Pen variants SM-T580 or SM-585. The black three-layer construction combines a hard polycarbonate inner shell, a soft shock-resistant silicone outer layer and a front cover. Buyers should verify the model number on the back of their tablet before ordering.

360° rotating stand and detachable straps

A sturdy kickstand on the back rotates 360 degrees and folds flat, allowing the tablet to be propped at multiple angles for video calls or media viewing. An adjustable hand strap secures the device for one-handed use, while a detachable shoulder belt enables cross-body carry or attachment to a car headrest. Both straps remove when not needed, leaving the slim case profile intact.

Ideal for mobile workers, families and travel

The rugged build suits professionals who need hands-free viewing on site, parents protecting a child’s tablet from drops, and commuters who want a secure grip and carry option. Users of other Galaxy Tab A 10.1 models without the S Pen, or any other tablet brand, should look for a case matched to their specific device.

Questions about this item

How well does the 360° rotating stand hold the 10.1 tablet during all-day video calls?

The 360° swivel kickstand is built into the hard polycarbonate bumper and locks at multiple angles, so the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 stays steady for long conferences without wobbling.

Does the triple-layer shell trap heat when the SM-P580 runs continuously?

The inner polycarbonate frame and outer silicone skin are open around ports and vents, letting the tablet dissipate heat normally even inside the shockproof cover.

Which exact tablet models must I already own for this case to fit?

It fits only the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with S Pen, models SM-P580 and SM-P585 (2016 release); it will not fit the non-S Pen variants SM-T580 or SM-585.
