Designed for Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2019

This protective case fits the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 inch 2019 release models SM-T290, SM-T295 and SM-T297. A hard plastic frame combines with a PC inner shell and soft silicone layer for three-layer defence against drops, scratches, shock and dust. A built-in kickstand provides two viewing angles for typing or watching. Two stylus pens are included in the package. The case has precise cutouts for the camera, speaker, charging port and Touch ID.

Suits owners of the 2019 8.0 inch Tab A seeking

Buyers who need a case for the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 with S Pen 2019 (SM-P200, SM-P205), the 2018 model (SM-T387) or the 2017 models (SM-T380, SM-T385) cannot use this product. It also does not fit any other tablet size or brand. Users who want an integrated screen protector should look elsewhere because none is included. The rose gold colour may not match every aesthetic preference.

Handles daily transport.

The three-layer construction absorbs impacts from accidental drops and resists scratches from keys or bags. The kickstand supports hands-free video calls and media viewing at two fixed angles. Included stylus pens cover basic drawing and navigation needs. The case adds bulk compared with a slim folio, so users who prioritise minimal thickness or a built-in screen protector will find the protection level insufficient for their preference.

Questions about this item

Which tablet models will this case fit?

It fits only the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 inch 2019 models SM-T290, SM-T295 and SM-T297. It will not fit the 2018 model SM-T387, the 2017 models SM-T380 or SM-T385, or the S Pen models SM-P200 and SM-P205.

Will the built-in kickstand still work if I keep an older folio cover on the tablet?

The kickstand is moulded into the case itself, so any extra cover would prevent the stand from deploying and holding the tablet at the two viewing angles.

How can I check that the cut-outs line up correctly after I snap the case on?

Verify that the camera, speaker, charging port and Touch ID sensor are all fully exposed and that the included stylus pens slide into their holders without obstruction.
