Targeted Compatibility

This protective case fits only the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2019 models SM-T290, SM-T295 and SM-T297. It does not fit the 2017 SM-T380 or SM-T385, the 2018 SM-T387 or the SM-P200 variants. Buyers who own any other tablet model cannot use this case.

Stand Functionality

The tri-fold front cover creates two distinct standing angles for video calls, media viewing or keyboard typing. The kickstand mechanism is integrated into the folio so no separate accessory is required. Users who need more than two viewing positions will not find them here.

Materials and Access

A PU leather exterior with a rigid polycarbonate back shell guards against scratches, shocks and dust. Precise cut-outs keep every button, port and control reachable without removing the case. Buyers who want a fully ruggedised enclosure or a built-in screen protector will not find those features.

Questions about this item

Will the PU leather on the BONAEVER SM-T290 case wear out and need replacing?

The PU leather is designed to protect the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2019 from daily scratches, shocks and dust; it has no stated replacement interval.

What is the first limit you hit when using the trifold stand all day?

The dual standing angles are fixed, so you cannot adjust the viewing angle beyond the two preset positions.

Does the case trap heat or make the tablet run hotter during long sessions?

The rigid polycarbonate back and PU leather cover do not add active cooling; the tablet relies on its own thermal design.
