Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus waterproof case

This waterproof hard case fits only the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus 11 inch 2023 release models SM-X210, SM-X216 and SM-X218. It seals to IP68 for submersion up to 2 metres and adds shockproof drop protection to the same height. A built-in PET screen protector guards the display without reducing touch sensitivity. The slim black shell slides easily into a bag.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Ideal for owners of the listed Samsung tablets who need underwater photo and video capability or rugged daily protection. Not for users of Lenovo Tab A9 8.7-inch or any other tablet model. Buyers wanting a folio stand, keyboard attachment or extra storage pockets will not find those features here.

Deciding specification: IP68 waterproof rating

The IP68 rating allowing submersion up to 2 metres is the single figure that determines whether this case meets the need. If underwater use or full sealing against dust and snow is required, this rating confirms suitability. Without that requirement a lighter non-waterproof sleeve may be preferable.

Questions about this item

Will the SM-X210/X216/X218 case fit my 11 inch Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus 2023 model?

Yes, this hard case is made only for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus 11 inch 2023 release models SM-X210, SM-X216 and SM-X218. It will not fit the Lenovo Tab A9 8.7-inch or any other tablet.

Do I need to remove my existing screen protector before installing this waterproof case?

Yes, you must remove any screen protector already on the tablet before fitting the case. The front cover has a built-in PET screen protector and leaving the old one on will reduce touch sensitivity.

How long will the built-in PET screen protector last before it needs replacing?

The built-in PET screen protector is a permanent part of the front cover and is not designed to be replaced separately. If it becomes scratched or damaged, the entire case would need to be replaced.
