Who This Suits And Who Should Look Elsewhere

Surface owners who want a traditional laptop typing feel with scissor-switch keys and a two-button trackpad will benefit. Users needing a keyboard that draws power directly from the tablet or connects via the Surface connector should look elsewhere. The trackpad may not work properly on uneven surfaces. Buyers who want a backlit keyboard need a different solution.

Installation And Common Issues

Pairing uses Bluetooth 5.1 with a signal range up to 33ft. Charging is via USB cable and the 750mAh battery provides about 200 hours of effective usage time. Standby time reaches up to 90 days per full charge. Auto sleep and wake functions help conserve power. Keys are rated for up to 3 million keypresses.
