Product identity

This hard-shell case fits specific ASUS Zenbook 14 and 14X OLED models including UX5401, UX5400, UX3402, UM3402, Q409ZA, UP3404, UN5401 and UP5401. It is built for owners of those exact laptops who want a snug, form-fitting cover. Buyers with other 14-inch notebooks, including other Zenbook generations, cannot use this case because the cut-outs and dimensions are model-specific.

Protection and fit

The case replaces a loose sleeve or bare transport with a rigid PU leather shell that wraps the chassis on all sides. A soft microfiber interior lines the hard layer, adding cushioning against bumps and vibration. The upgrade is worth it when daily carry exposes the laptop to crowded bags, desk shuffling or frequent travel where a fabric sleeve would compress or shift.

Capacity and limits

The shell accommodates laptops measuring 12.40 by 8.77 by 0.74 inch, covering the listed Zenbook 14, 14X and Flip OLED variants. It handles dust, scratches, minor spills and 360-degree abrasion during typical office, commute and home use. It does not protect against heavy impact, crushing loads or liquid immersion, and it will not fit laptops outside the specified model list or dimensional envelope.

Questions about this item

Will the BONAEVER UX5401 case fit my ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED UX5401ZA exactly?

Yes, this hard case is designed specifically for the ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED UX5401 series and matches the 12.40 x 8.77 x 0.74 inch dimensions listed for those models.

How do I install the hard shell without scratching the laptop edges?

The case snaps on in two pieces; start with the bottom half, align the port cut-outs, then press the top half down evenly — rushing the top piece before the bottom is seated is the step most people get wrong.

When should I replace the microfiber inner liner?

If the grey PU leather shows deep abrasion or the soft microfiber wool becomes matted and no longer cushions the 14 inch chassis, swap the case to maintain 360-degree protection.
