VR Headset for Nintendo Switch and Switch OLED

The BONAEVER headset turns a Nintendo Switch or Switch OLED into a stereoscopic 3D viewer. Adjustable lenses move left, right, forward and back so each eye can be aligned without focus issues. The goggles are built from ABS and soft EVA with an adjustable headband for a secure fit. A USB-C port on the bottom lets the console charge while you play.

360 degree panoramic view and compatible titles

The high-definition independent lenses deliver a 360 degree panoramic view with the console's native colours. Supported Switch VR games and YouTube VR videos play in stereoscopic 3D without reported dizziness. The headset only works with software that offers a VR mode; standard flat games will not gain depth. Joy-Con controllers should be removed before use.

Physical and optical limits of the Labo-style design

The headset relies on the Switch screen's resolution and refresh rate, so image clarity is bounded by the console's 720p panel in handheld mode. No external tracking sensors or positional audio are included, limiting experiences to seated or stationary play. The fixed lens distance suits average interpupillary ranges but cannot compensate for extreme prescriptions.
