Universal phone case for underwater use

The BONAEVER waterproof case fits smartphones from 4.7 to 6.9 inches and carries an IP68 rating. It is designed for snorkelling, diving and other wet outdoor activities where the phone must stay dry and protected from dust and shock. The sealed enclosure allows operation down to 15 metres for up to 30 minutes.

Sustained immersion and pressure resistance

During a continuous dive the case maintains its seal at depths of 15 metres for the full 30-minute window. The thickened film improves water resistance but prevents direct touchscreen use, so control relies on the paired Bluetooth remote. The built-in compass remains readable throughout the immersion period.

Installation notes and common issues

Setup requires pairing the Bluetooth controller with the companion app before sealing the phone inside. Because the protective film blocks touch input, all camera functions such as zoom and mode switching must be handled through the remote. The package includes a wrist lanyard and cleaning cloth; a mounting bracket is sold separately.

Questions about this item

Does the Bluetooth controller drain the phone battery quickly during a full day of snorkeling?

The Bluetooth controller connects to the app for zoom and mode switching, but the case itself has no battery and adds no power draw beyond normal Bluetooth use.

What must I already own to use the Bluetooth zoom and compass features?

You need a smartphone between 4.7 and 6.9 inches, the free companion app installed, and the wrist lanyard is included for secure handling.

Will my iPhone 13 fit and still let me use the touchscreen through the case?

The iPhone 13 fits within the 4.7-6.9 inch range, but the thickened waterproof film does not support touchscreen operation; all control is via the Bluetooth remote.
