Ergonomic Arm Support Tray

The BONTEC EH05-HD is a clamp-on desk extender designed for computer users who experience forearm strain during long typing or mousing sessions. It provides a 27.2 by 9.5 inch carbon-fiber style surface that projects past the desk edge to relieve pressure points. The adjustable double C-clamp fits desktops up to 4.7 inches thick without drilling, suiting home, office, and gaming setups.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The reinforced MDF and coated steel frame is rated for a steady 33 lb capacity, keeping keyboard, mouse, and small accessories stable throughout a full workday. The wear-resistant, waterproof surface tolerates continuous contact and wipes clean without degrading. A 90-degree foldable mechanism lets the tray drop flush against the desk when not needed, preserving the structure and clearing the workspace repeatedly.

Upgrade Context

This tray replaces improvised wrist rests or the hard desk edge that forces awkward forearm angles during extended use. The jump is worth it when a fixed desk depth leaves no room for relaxed arm positioning or when a shared workstation demands a support that stows instantly. It is not for buyers who need a second tier for monitors or a permanent shelf that does not fold away.

Questions about this item

Does the tray vibrate or make noise when I type on it all day?

The tray is a solid MDF board with steel clamps and no moving parts, so it stays quiet and stable during continuous typing.

What desk thickness does the double C-clamp need to attach securely?

The adjustable double C-clamp fits desktops up to 4.7 in thick and requires no drilling.

Will the folded 90° tray clear my monitor arm that clamps to the same desk edge?

When folded down, the tray lies flat against the clamp bracket, leaving the desk edge free for other clamp-on accessories.
