Ultra-Slim EDC Flashlight for Everyday Carry

The BoomFun BMF-L-05 is a pocket-sized flashlight measuring 4.17"L x 0.98"W x 0.31"H and weighing 1.2oz/34g. It delivers up to 600 lumens through a main beam and side COB light with eight adjustable modes. A magnetic base and clip allow hands-free attachment to metal surfaces, belts or backpacks for work or outdoor use.

USB-C Rechargeable Battery and Runtime Limits

The integrated 450 mAh lithium-ion battery provides 2 to 8 hours of runtime depending on the selected brightness mode. Full charging requires 2 hours via the included USB-C cable. The single-button interface remembers the last mode used after 10 seconds and offers double-click shortcuts for strobe or temporary super-bright side light lasting 30 seconds.

IPX4 Water Resistance and Mounting Checks

The aluminum alloy body carries an IPX4 waterproof rating and 2-meter shock resistance for durability in wet conditions. Before ordering, verify that the magnetic base will hold securely on your intended metal surfaces and that the clip fits your belt, hat or pack straps. The rectangular 0.31"H profile suits tight pockets but may not fit narrow tool loops.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 600-lumen version over the 500- or 400-lumen models listed in the comparison?

The BMF-L-05 is the 600-lumen model; the table shows it shares the same 8 modes, USB-C charging, 1.2 oz weight and 4.17" x 0.98" x 0.31" size as the 500-lumen variant, so choose it when you want the highest peak output.

What does the 600-lumen rating mean for actual use?

It provides a main beam plus a side COB light with eight modes including adjustable brightness, strobe and emergency flashes, running 2–8 hours from the 450 mAh battery depending on the mode selected.

How does the USB-C charging port limit real-world charging speed?

The included USB-C cable fully recharges the 450 mAh lithium-ion cell in about 2 hours, so the port’s practical cap is a standard 5 V charge rate for this battery size.
