Compact Aluminium Carabiners

Six 2.3-inch black clips made from aircraft-grade aluminium alloy with a stainless steel spring-loaded gate. Each clip supports a maximum load of 55 lbs or 25 kg and is rated for over 5000 open-close cycles. They are designed for everyday carry, outdoor gear attachment and light-duty securing tasks.

Corrosion-Resistant Finish

The black anodised coating provides rust and corrosion resistance for prolonged outdoor exposure. No moving parts require lubrication and the gate action remains smooth without noticeable friction or noise during normal use. The lightweight aluminium adds minimal bulk to a keychain, backpack or belt loop.

Six-Pack Convenience

The pack supplies six identical clips so spares are available for multiple bags, bottles or pet leads. A 180-day manufacturer warranty covers both parts and labour from the date of purchase. These clips are not rated for climbing, swing sets, punching bags or any load-bearing safety application.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the 2.3" carabiner to a split ring or loop without the gate snagging?

Hold the gate open with your thumb, slide the ring into the D-shaped nose, then release the spring-loaded gate so it snaps shut; the aluminium alloy gate closes smoothly in one hand.

What part will wear out first if I open and close the gate daily?

The stainless steel spring-loaded gate is rated for more than 5000 cycles before fatigue becomes likely.

At what load will the 2.3" clip deform or fail during prolonged hanging?

The maximum working load is 55 lbs (25 kg); sustained force near that limit will cause permanent deformation.
