Mid-back task chair with 27" nylon base

The BOSS B1563 is a mid-back task chair built for office workers who sit for long stretches. Its extra-large seat and back cushions are upholstered in black LeatherPlus, a leather-and-polyurethane blend made for softness and durability. Height-adjustable polypropylene arms and a pneumatic gas lift let each user set their own fit.

Limits of the gas-lift adjustment range

Seat height moves only between 40.5 and 44 inches, so the chair cannot be lowered for shorter desks or raised for standing-height surfaces. The fixed 27-inch nylon base sets the footprint and stability, but it also means the chair will not fit under very low clearance desks. Tilt tension is adjustable, yet the upright lock offers only a single locked position.

27-inch nylon base diameter decides stability

The 27-inch base is the single spec that determines whether this chair stays steady on your flooring. A narrower base would tip more easily under the large cushions, while a wider one would change the room layout. If your workspace needs a smaller or larger footprint, this model will not match that requirement.
