Safe Volume for Young Listeners

The Botesty Sound Ivy headphones are wired over-ear models designed for children aged three and up. They feature a selectable volume limiter set at either 85 or 94 decibels to protect developing ears during study or travel. A 3.5 mm plug connects directly to tablets, laptops, smartphones and other compatible devices without batteries or pairing.

Adjustable Limits and Inline Control

The dual limit provides 85 dB for quiet environments and 94 dB for noisier settings such as airplanes, giving parents headroom for different situations. An inline push-button remote handles play, pause, track skipping and call management, supporting online learning and video chats. The 4.9 ft nylon braided cord resists tangles and tearing during daily handling.

Foldable Build Replaces Bulkier Sets

The 90° swivel earcups and foldable frame reduce the footprint to 178.23 mm x 156.55 mm x 77.57 mm for easy packing in backpacks or carry-on luggage. Soft cushions and a stretchable, cushioned headband replace less adjustable designs that pinch or slip. The upgrade is worth it when a child needs a durable, volume-limited headset that stores flat and survives rough treatment.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.5 mm plug work with the older tablet and laptop my child already uses?

Yes, the 3.5 mm jack connects to any device with a matching port, including tablets, laptops, Chromebooks, iPads, MP3/4 players, PCs and Amazon Fire tablets.

How can I confirm the 85 dB study mode and 94 dB travel mode are active after I set them?

Slide the inline switch to the desired position; the volume will not exceed the selected limit, so you can verify it by playing audio at maximum device volume and checking the output level.

What comes in the box and is a separate audio cable needed?

The package contains the headphones and a user manual; the 4.9 ft nylon-braided cord is permanently attached, so no extra cable is required.
