Compatible replacement for Canon LP-E5

The Bower XPDCE5 is a 7.4V 1800 mAh lithium-ion battery built to replace the Canon LP-E5. It powers Canon EOS Rebel Xsi, XS, T1i EF-S, Kiss X2, 450D, 500D and 1000D models. Photographers needing a spare or replacement cell for these DSLRs can use this unit.

Check camera model and charger compatibility

Verify that your camera body appears in the supported list before ordering. The battery fits the listed Rebel, Kiss and EOS three-digit models only. Ensure your existing charger accepts 7.4V 1800 mAh cells or plan to use the camera’s own charging method.

Fits in the standard battery compartment

The cell slides into the camera’s native battery slot without adapters. It restores shooting time for long sessions and frees you from carrying a tethered power source. A second charged unit lets you swap quickly during events or travel.
