10.2-Inch Keyboard Case for iPad 9, 8, 7 Generations

This magnetic keyboard case fits iPad 9th, 8th and 7th generation 10.2-inch models released in 2019, 2020 and 2021. It is designed for owners of those specific tablets who want a detachable typing surface and a protective shell in one accessory.

Magnetic Detachable Keyboard and Auto Sleep Wake

The keyboard attaches magnetically and can be removed so the case or keyboard works alone. Precise cut-outs keep every port, speaker, microphone and camera accessible while the cover automatically wakes or sleeps the iPad when opened or closed. The rear shell uses impact-resistant TPU to absorb everyday bumps.

Integrated Pencil Holder and Tray

A built-in pen holder and pencil tray on the left side store an Apple Pencil securely without adding bulk. This keeps the stylus ready for note-taking or drawing and prevents it from rolling off a desk or getting lost in a bag.

Questions about this item

What limits how long the keyboard can be used before recharging?

The keyboard runs on its own internal battery, so the limit is its charge capacity; the case draws no power from the iPad.

Does the case or keyboard generate noticeable heat or noise during all-day use?

No, the keyboard is a passive Bluetooth input device and the TPU back cover has no active cooling, so it produces no fan noise or measurable heat.

Which iPad models must I already own for this case to fit and the auto sleep/wake to work?

Compatible models are the 10.2 inch iPad 9th, 8th and 7th generation (2021, 2020, 2019) with model numbers A2602, A2604, A2603, A2605, A2270, A2428, A2429, A2430, A2197, A2198, A2200 or A2199.
