Bradshaw 18750 Knife Sharpener

The Bradshaw 18750 sharpens both sides of a knife blade simultaneously using tool steel wheels. Its nickel and chrome construction provides a durable surface for regular kitchen use. This sharpener suits home cooks who want a straightforward manual tool for maintaining a usable edge on everyday cutlery. It is not intended for buyers who need adjustable angles or a multi-stage system for heavily damaged blades.

Thermals noise and power draw

As a manual hand tool the sharpener produces no heat, requires no electricity and operates silently during use. There are no motors, fans or electronic components to generate noise or consume power. The only effort comes from the user drawing the blade through the wheels.

Questions about this item

How do I position the 18750 sharpener so both tool-steel wheels contact the blade at once?

Hold the handle firmly, place the blade vertically between the two wheels, and pull straight back with light pressure; the fixed-angle wheels sharpen both sides simultaneously without adjustment.

When do the tool-steel sharpening wheels on the 18750 need replacement?

The nickel-chrome frame resists corrosion, but the tool-steel wheels will eventually wear smooth; replace the unit when you no longer feel a burr forming after several passes.
