Brady 78246 Chain Link Pack

This Brady 78246 chain link is supplied in a pack of 36 yellow polyethylene pieces. It is designed for use with manufacturer number 78238. The links suit industrial safety barriers and access control setups where high-visibility components are required. Buyers needing a different length or material should consider other options.

Yellow Polyethylene Durability

The polyethylene construction resists moisture and common chemicals in normal environments. A gloss finish helps the yellow colour stay bright for visual warnings. The material stays flexible across typical indoor and outdoor temperatures. No power, cooling or noise specifications apply to this passive hardware.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the 78246 chain links to the 78238 barrier posts, and what step is often missed?

Attach each 2-inch yellow polyethylene link to the 78238 post hooks, then close every link fully; the step often missed is leaving a link partially open, which creates a gap in the barrier line.

What part of the 78246 chain will need replacement first in outdoor use, and how many spares come in a pack?

The yellow polyethylene links degrade from UV exposure before the metal hooks; a pack contains 36 links, so keep extras on hand to swap out faded or brittle sections.
