Braeburn 7340 blueLink Wi-Fi Thermostat

The Braeburn 7340 blueLink smart connect Wi-Fi Thermostat is designed for residential and light commercial HVAC control. It connects to a local wireless network for remote monitoring and adjustment via the blueLink platform. The unit suits homeowners and installers adding smart scheduling to compatible heating and cooling equipment.

Share-A-Wire module adds a common wire

The included Share-A-Wire module provides a common wire connection on existing four-wire systems where a dedicated C-wire is absent. This allows the thermostat to draw continuous power without running new cable to the air handler. Installation still requires access to the HVAC equipment control board to fit the module.

Replaces non-Wi-Fi thermostats on four-wire systems

This kit upgrades a traditional thermostat that lacks wireless connectivity and operates on a four-wire layout without a common wire. The jump is worthwhile when remote access and scheduling are needed but pulling a new C-wire is impractical. It does not suit systems already equipped with a dedicated common wire or those requiring multi-stage control beyond the thermostat specification.
