Automatic Front Parking Camera System

The Brandmotion Curb Alert Park View PRO 5000-CA6 is an automatic front camera kit that activates when its sensor detects a nearby curb or garage wall. It is intended for drivers who want to avoid front-end parking damage without pressing any buttons. The system sends a live video feed to a compatible factory radio, aftermarket head unit or LCD mirror display, which must be supplied separately. No display or interface module is included with this kit.

Sensor Range and Display Dependency

The unit only triggers when the built-in sensor registers an object close enough to warrant a warning, so very low or narrow obstacles outside that detection zone will not activate the camera. Because there is no onboard screen, the driver must already own or purchase a compatible display and, in many vehicles, a separate video interface to accept the camera signal. Without those additional parts the system cannot show an image.

Straightforward Wiring

Installation consists of mounting the front camera, routing its cable to the sensor module and connecting power, ground and the video output to the chosen display. The most frequent issue is discovering that the vehicle’s factory radio lacks a direct video input, requiring an extra interface harness that is not part of this package. Another common snag is verifying that the sensor’s detection angle matches the specific bumper profile on the vehicle.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 5000-CA6 kit or a rear-only version?

The 5000-CA6 adds a front camera that activates automatically when sensors detect a curb or garage wall, while a rear-only system would not show obstacles ahead of the vehicle.

How does the automatic front-camera trigger work when I am parking?

Sensors detect an approaching curb or wall and switch on the front camera view on your factory radio or aftermarket display, giving you a live view without pressing any button.

What display connection does the 5000-CA6 require to show the camera image?

The system outputs a standard video signal that plugs into a factory display via a separate interface, an aftermarket head unit with a camera input, or an LCD mirror display.
