Compact Citrus Juicer for Small Kitchens

The Brentwood J-17 is a 1.2 litre electric citrus juicer built for home cooks who want fresh orange or lemon juice without a bulky appliance. Its 180 watt motor handles routine juicing tasks on a countertop that measures only 5.5 by 9 inches.

Upgrade from Manual Reamers

This unit replaces a hand press or basic reamer when you regularly make juice for more than one person. The 40 ounce pitcher and two-way cone direction cut the effort in half, so the switch pays off once daily juicing becomes a habit.

Simple Assembly with One Trap

The cone, strainer and pitcher lift off for rinsing, and the dust cover snaps on after cleaning. The only common snag is forgetting to lock the pitcher tabs before starting; the motor will not run until they click into place.

Questions about this item

How much counter space does the 9.5 by 5.5 inch footprint of the J-17 juicer need?

The unit measures 9.5 inches tall, 5.5 inches wide and 9 inches deep, so allow a few extra centimetres around the dust cover and pitcher for comfortable pouring.

Which removable parts must click into place before the 180 watt motor will start?

The reamer, strainer, pitcher and dust cover all lock together; the safety interlock prevents operation until every piece is seated correctly.

How often should the detachable pitcher and strainer be replaced if used daily for 1.2 litre batches?

The BPA-free plastic pitcher and stainless-steel strainer are dishwasher-safe and designed for long-term use; inspect for cracks or mesh damage after heavy juicing sessions.
